The motor yacht is a U.S. Coast Guard documented 36' Sportfisherman with 12 1/2' beam, 3' draft and 25' height, thereby enabling her to navigate areas inaccesible to larger vessels, for example, circling Manhattan. She carries the most modern safety equipment and alarm systems.
The Fightin' Irish, launched in 1988, was specially designed for long distance cruising and fishing with a range of over 300 miles. She is berthed at prestigious Manhasset Bay Marina on the exclusive North Shore of Long Island and skippered by Peter F. Graven, former Naval Officer, U.S.C.G. certified Master,
thirty-five year veteran of local waters,
and a current member of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary,
conducting Search and Rescue Missions.
